Graphic Novels & Manga

I have loved comics since I was a child. My Dad had a collection of over 10,000 comics that would make most comic book store owners weep. Thor #1. Spiderman #16. First appearances of Silver Surfer, Wolverine, Cable, Deathlok, and ROM. Not to mention the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, Avengers, Hulk, Batman, Superman, the JLA, and more. Basically everything from late 1960s to early 2000s. I spent many years researching the craft of comic book writing before I finally put the pen to paper and began to write my own stories. My present projects:

Vehemence

Vehemence

I wrote this script way back in 2004. It was a simple coming of age superhero tale written like a psychological thriller. A studio recently contacted me about revising the script so that it can be fully drawn and ultimately published. I completely retooled the script (transforming it into a four part, 90 page graphic novel) and sent it to the publisher for final approval. If all goes well, this will become an ongoing series. Expected publication: Fall 2020

Fallen

Am urban fantasy I worked on during my time in film school. I am working on revamping the series as a manga. The story centers on what would happen if magic were to suddenly return to modern day earth.

Insanity 101

I was blessed to have a series of 3 comics strips published by Infuze Magazine back in the early 2000s. It is my wish to one day revive this nutty series. Only time will tell if that happens. Insanity 101 is essentially a look into my twisted, sarcastic, crazy world that exists inside my head. If that isn’t enough to scare you away I don’t know what will.

Eliam

A fantasy thriller manga series inspired by the classic film, To Catch A Thief.

Nebula

Based on the award-winning short story I penned years ago, Nebula is a futuristic superhero tale set as a manga. Think Superman meets Star Trek.
